I used this in the Pacific ocean in October off the coast of Washington and was plenty warm.

I had a pretty hard time getting my feet and out but that is fairly typical of semi-dry wetsuits unless you get the version with zippers on the legs and arms. If using frequently it would be worth the extra cost to get the zippers.

All the size charts showed me using a 2X but the shoulders are too small in this unit so I should have ordered one size larger.
